Do you know that ?

Open your eyes wide, it’s at this time that you will be able to see them!

A ribbon tied to a foot or wire indicates a diseased foot. This ribbon is hung during the harvest and allows the wine workers who take care of the pruning to know which plants must be pulled out.

It is a landmark in the vineyard paths.

The harvests are in vats!

After a very good harvest during the September harvest, the Chablis and Petit Chablis appellations are vinified in this stainless steel vat room. They will spend the next few months there waiting for bottling and tasting.

Be careful not to stay there too long because the gases escaping from fermentation may make your head spin.

Come and discover this spectacular place at Chai de Montallery!
